This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are amazing avid readers. Recently they asked for more books about science and science fiction. In the excitement, my students made a short list of some books they would love to read to learn more about the world.

Books about Egypt, survival, genetics and more were added on to the requested books list.

As a teacher, I love that they love to read and want to continue that passion. Students who see other students reading these books about science may even become interested in learning more about science themselves, even checking out one of the books to read!
