My students love learning more about the natural world they live in. From exploring Newton’s laws to examining cell structure, my 6th grade science students are constantly eager to explore. Students love participating in hands-on activities and labs are a favorite in class.
My Project
With the transition to virtual schooling, science classrooms have struggled to keep students engaged in hands-on, standards-based lab activities. Many labs that were used in previous years need modification for distance learning. The resources provided by the teachers pay teachers website gives teachers a large bank of activities and labs that have already been modified for student use on a computer or at home. Students will be able to participate in labs and activities that have been modified for virtual schooling. Please help support science students in Boca Raton, Florida!
