Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My high school students enjoy hands on activities. They become engaged using kits, games and puzzles to build skills such as critical thinking, reading and discussing ways to solve problems in a collaboration with their peers. By creating science stations, students get to discover solutions and enjoy the learning process.
In the age of digital learning, students can document what they are learning even though they might think they are playing.
The library is a place where students can come in and try out the games about the environment, or just read and color information about our National Parks and why it is important to keep them safe. Perhaps one day, they will travel to see these important places. These activities are designed to not only teach, but to also understand the important role of being stewards to our environment.
