Science and Social Studies Enhancement

Help me give my students flashlights, painter's tape and other materials for a more visually engaging science experience. Science is filled with inquiry and these materials will help my students practice asking questions and problem solving.

My Project

Science is filled with hands-on projects. Please help make these lessons even more interactive and engaging. In our first unit, we learn about sound and light waves. The flashlights help us see how light travels and how shadows are created. The UV beads are a highlight of the unit! The students get to witness the sun's rays even though they are invisible to our eye. We learn about the patterns of the sun, moon, and stars in our second science unit. The mon light and stars will help make these ideas more concrete by using visuals in the classroom.
