My Project
I have 16 amazing 3/4 year olds. They are so kind and love to learn. Having these tools would help me provide better for their science and sensory centers, which is critical for brain development at their young age. I recently attended an early childhood conference that gave me the tools to see what my classroom needs more of! Right now we have limited supplies in our science center and sensory bin. We will be talking about life cycles with live butterflies and many other animals, which is why I picked those books. Water blocks will be used for our sensory bin play, we haven’t had anything to do with water yet! The calming kit will be great for our cozy corner, as we have been talking about emotional regulation and taking time to calm our bodies down when having big feelings. Having these tools will help them understand feelings and give them the coping skills and emotional regulation that is so essential for daily life!
