My Project
Biology is an integral part of learning the sciences. It will allow students to apply what they learned from the classroom to other fields such as medicine, sports, engineering, and agriculture. Our State has recently been selected to open a data processing research center. In our district, technology integration is inadequate for students to learn digitally and explore science-related courses online. The laptops provided by the district for the students and the teachers have limitations on accessing built-in applications and restrict the class from using online platforms. By having the iPad, it will allow the class to access digital resources that we can't access on our district's laptops. The iPad, Apple Pencil, and keyboard will be used for instructional purposes, and student groups to take turns and take advantage to use the equipment. It will help them be prepared for the upcoming research center allowing them to illustrate, graph, model, and research data available online.
An iPad will allow students to access digital laboratories and experimentation, think critically, develop research skills, and communicate the results of their scientific experiments for their classmates to learn from and prepare them for future academic endeavors.
An iPad can help the students navigate built-in applications, play science games, explore 3D models and structures, and these skills will be useful to develop potential careers and future academic endeavors.
