My Students

What kinds of students benefit from classroom learning stations? Classroom learning stations are designed to benefit all kinds of learners, with all sorts of multiple intelligences!

My students are 4-6 year old children who are full of energy and excitement for learning.

Their young minds are absorbing information around them at all times. They come from different backgrounds and abilities. However they all share one thing in common, they show up to school each day with smiles on their faces and a love for school.

My Project

My students need hands on math and science activities: Butterflies in the Classroom kit, Number sequencing puzzles, and jumbo stampers. The science and math activities that I have requested are hands on learning opportunities for my students. The students would utilize the activities during learning stations and centers. Activities are designed to be used in small group as well as individually which make them perfect for use during our rotating daily learning stations. The activities can be easily differentiated to meet student needs. The activities will also be incorporated into our school-wide math night in which parents are encouraged to enjoy and participate in math activities with their children.

The science and math activities will allow my students to play games, use hands on materials and have fun while learning. Children who are happy at school are eager to learn and grow!
