My Project
My classroom is composed of amazing 6th and 8th grade students trying to discover how great science is! Between the two grade levels, there is a difference in curriculum which require some different materials, yet some materials, such as digital scales, are used for all of my classes. My class is in need of beakers of various sizes for some of the many cool and fun labs that we do in class. We are also in need of some very fun and engaging decor to make my room as fun and science-y as possible! I believe that when students feel comfortable and relaxed in my classroom, it makes learning that much better! This is why the solar system decor would be fun for the students and it is related to our units.
The students also use online learning throughout the year- which requires the use of their own chromebooks.
However, many students come to class needing their chromebooks charged, so I would very much appreciate some chargers so that that those students can work while plugged in. I also love to celebrate learners and leaders and great behavior, by having students choose a small prize from my treasure box- which is usually some suckers- with caramel apple suckers being the most popular choice.
