My Students

Another upcoming year and another struggle to get basic items!

I have amazing second grade students.

Our school is located in a high need area of the city. A good percentage of our students come from families in which poverty is highly relevant. They live environments that include housing projects, shelters and foster homes. Approximately half of our students have special needs.

My Project

Getting all the necessary tools and resources will support our students and classroom to function and produce quality work. In order to provide our students with interesting and engaging activities for them to learn, we have to constantly look for games and hands-on activities that usually require glue, cutting, paper, crayons and markers. We also need things to hang our activities in fun and not overwhelming ways such as with pocket charts and chart papers.

Please help our students to have what they need in the classroom.

We really want them to be successful and to enjoy the school year. These experiences will help them master their skills and also keep them interested in the educational system throughout their lives. Your donation can really make a difference in preparing them for their future. Thanks.
