School Year 24-25 Essential Supplies for Mrs. McWilliams Grades 6-8.
Help me give my students the basic essentials to start the year off right. This year I will be teaching an additional grade from 7-8 to now 6-8 ELA/ELL. It is important to have the essentials first day.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year school year we will be changing from Junior High to Middle School going from 7-8 to 6-8. We will have at minimum 125 scholars in a growing community. Teaching in a Title 1 school I know first hand that our students often need help getting all the essential supplies needed for the first day of school.
Supplies such as pencils and paper are needed first day.
Middle school students need basic supplies for four different content areas. The basic need for composition books and pencils is just the minimum request for each content area.
In ELA each student will need an interactive notebook which will contain their personal anchor charts to help with their learning. In the first weeks of school we make colorful help aides that the students will use through out the year.
