Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school district is going through drastic budget cuts and as teachers...We need to look for other ways to support our students and get the supplies we need as teachers. Here are the following supplies we need:

-We need working headphones with microphones so the students can hear and speak clearly while doing state standardized testing, doing reading evaluations and lessons online.

The school provides headphones but they fall apart and stop working at times. They are not reliable.

-Lamination sheets are need to make permanent copies of anchor charts. These charts are used for teaching in the classroom.

-Laminating white/black label tape is important to label teacher's supplies and students' supplies. Students need to be able to identify what belongs to them.

-Bean bag stuffing: We have old bean bags that need stuffing because they are going flat and the students love to use them so they can sit around the classroom. They are great for flexible seating in the classroom.

-A back support for the teacher's chair to help with lower back support during teaching during group work.
