My Students

Located in Central Utah, we are a Title I school with students from economically diverse backgrounds. Some students have great support for their learning, while others are not so fortunate. This year has been challenging for all of us, but I am impressed with the resilience and perseverance they have demonstrated.

I feel they deserve to have the resources that would promote their best learning.

My Project

Some of my students have missed many days of learning due to COVID-19 and its impacts such as quarantine. As a result of this, we have found that many students are experiencing a learning deficit that we must correct.

Having manipulatives and other personalized equipment will help students reduce their learning deficits while working independently.

Other electronic equipment such as headphones help students to work on individual programs without disturbing other students in the class.

I am especially excited for my students to use the fraction cubes to generate equivalent fractions without losing all of the individual pieces!
