My Students

Our school is in a large metropolis with many of the same challenges facing other cities this size. As teachers, we're sensitive to the fact that many of our students struggle to get their basic needs met. All students at our school receive free breakfast and lunch. Each year our school has more students who are homeless. Most of our students come to school carrying the heavy load of some kind of significant trauma.

Our class is a self-contained, special education behavior unit.

We have great kids! We just need a little extra help. Our classroom is a safe environment designed to help us focus and learn.

My Project

We are going back to in-person learning after spring break. I am requesting pens, ink, ink pens, and notebooks. Students will be using the ballpoint pens to practice writing. The notebook, ink, and ink fountain pens will be used during small group activities. The handwriting line stamp will be perfect for my youngest students to learn to print on a line. I will use the highlighters to print upper and lowercase letters. My students will then use the pens to trace the letter. Please help bring this project to life.
