Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach an extraordinary group of middle school students in the Bronx. I believe that my students and all students have so much potential so I want to use that to enhance their future both inside and out of education. My students are very diverse both in their variety of cultures and their needs, which makes my job the best in the world. My students constantly keep me on my toes and their curious minds teach me something new every day.

My Project

All students deserve to use great resources and materials to further their education. Purchasing simple and basic school supplies will set my students and classroom up for success right from the start. Students will utilize these materials daily for classroom assignments, projects and more! Additionally, if my students had these materials accessible there are more possibilities inside and outside of the classroom. For example, students can work together on poster presentations, can engage in an interactive science notebook by gluing papers into their notebooks, and can submit quick feedback via index cards. Every classroom needs to be equipt with a pencil sharpener and stapler to manage daily needs! The Amazon Tablet is going to act as a classroom tool for attendance, research, seating charts, and a reward point system. Students will be in charge of all these actions.
