This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have just started their 1st grade year and they are full of fun and looking forward to learning! In our busy classroom, staying organized and motivated is key to helping students focus on learning. With a Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) gift card, I will be able to access high-quality, creative resources like math centers, reading games, and writing prompts that are tailored to my students’ needs. These activities will not only spark their excitement but also provide differentiated practice so every learner can succeed.
"I can’t find my pencil!" is something we hear almost every day in first grade, so just imagine if our students have everything they need to learn right at their fingertips.
Adhesive desk pencil holders will keep students’ pencils and tools right where they need them. Instead of wasted time looking for a missing pencil, students can stay on task and take pride in keeping their space neat. This small organizational tool makes a big difference in building responsibility and independence.
Finally, the Avery labels and Sharpies will help us keep materials, book bins, and student folders clearly marked. When students can quickly find and return supplies, our classroom runs smoothly, leaving more time for meaningful lessons and hands-on activities. Together, these resources will create a more organized, efficient, and motivating environment where students can focus on what matters most—learning and growing every day.
