This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I wish to help my class this year by providing my students with the resources they need to be successful. In order to do so, my students need basic materials and supplies to ensure that they are comfortable and content throughout the busy school day. I believe that it is a necessity to meet all of my students varying needs, which starts with providing them with the basic materials and supplies that are needed in the classroom. I have taught this class for Kindergarten last year and will be teaching many of these same students as I embark on the next journey of teaching first grade!

I have so enjoyed working with this group of amazing students and look forward to some familiar faces as well as some new faces in my classroom next year.

The facial tissues are something that we do not receive enough of, and this age group tends to go through Kleenex very quickly! The folders and and filing bins will be used for students' completed work, so that each student has a specific place to submit their schoolwork and assignments. I think that this class will benefit from these resources in the hopes that we stay organized and that all needs are met in the upcoming school year!
