My Project
The mini pencils, crayons, erasers, and dry erase markers will be used for math instruction. In Kindergarten, we make math hands on and use the dry erase markers to model problems on whiteboards. We use the mini pencils and erasers to complete independent math work on the carpet. The mini pencils fit perfectly in our math boxes. We use the crayons to solve problems.
We will use the regular sized pencils, crayons, and erasers during writing.
We will use the dry erase markers to practice writing their name- a name practice sheet is placed in a sheet protector so they can practice writing their name daily at the writing center. We will use glue through out all subjects. Gluing letter sorts, sounds sorts, vocabulary sorts, sequencing events in a story, and academic crafts.
My students love learning and love to be hands on. Having the right materials makes learning more fun.
