This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My incoming second graders will be excited to begin a new school year in August. Our school budget is less than it’s been in the last few years and my students will need folders for learning centers, basic supplies, and snacks for buddy time, among other items. Some students don’t have the necessary resources to purchase school supplies and rely on what the school can provide.

Unfortunately, that amount has decreased and I am looking for outside donors to help.

The above mentioned items and many others such as the snacks and center items, will help students to work together and learn to collaborate with one another.
