Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have the amazing opportunity to work with phenomenal children every day! My students are the definition of resilience and relentlessness. Walking through the front door of the school is the first step toward the student's future!
Despite the fact that many students have immense challenges outside of school, the children always show up to school and are ready to academically challenge themselves and their peers.
I am able to help foster a love of learning and watch students grow and mature over the course of a school year.
My Project
Students are coming back to school from a very long extended home learning time. Students are excited to be back to school after such a long time away from friends and teachers.
Students need some basic supplies to help them be successful in the classroom.
Many families have felt the impact of covid weather it is financial or personal healty situations. If I can ease the burden of the cost of school supplies on families, that would be helpful in the success of students.
