School Supplies for our Homeless Scholars

My Students

I am the Family Student Resource Liaison at our school which has a non-profit 501 3(c) status. Our children are primarily from low income families and some reside in the neighborhood shelter.

We provide uniforms and school supplies for the scholars that are living in shelters and low income families that cannot afford these items.

We also provide resume assistance & job search for parents and need a computer for them to use.

My Project

The materials selected will be distributed to our scholars experiencing homelessness. As the Social Services Liaison for the school, I work with scholars and families to make sure they have the necessary supplies needed to succeed in school. Providing these scholars with a brand new book bag and school supplies will help them be prepared for school each day.

My school primarily service low income families, more of our families are experiencing homeless due to the pandemic.

These donations for school supplies will help ease some of the burden for our scholars parents.
