School Supplies for Learning

My Students

I am currently a fully self-contained, preschool special education teacher in a Title I elementary school in Hawaii. More than half of my students are from low income families. I have preschool students with various disabilities and delays including autism, fine motor, gross motor, speech/communication, behavior management, social emotional needs, developmental delays and medically fragile.

My students are full of energy, loving, caring, spirited and eager to learn group.

My Project

I'd like to provide my preschool students with fun and creative ways to learn. By providing my students with school supplies such as paint, various foam stickers, washable dot markers, Lego's, binders, laminator, paper, paper cutter and storage cart they will be able to practice their fine motor skills, language skills and executive functioning skills and also help us to prepare projects for them. Since my students are preschool age, a fun and engaging way to help them to progress in their fine motor and language skills is through projects such as art, creating books etc.

These school supplies will help to motivate and get my students excited to work on their early learning skills.
