Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My school is in a low income area and the supplies I am requesting will help start our year off successfully by being prepared from the start! We use headphones daily in our class to support our learning and to not disrupt other students. We use student data folders for my students to be accountable for goal setting and seeing data, so we use page protectors and pocket dividers to help organize that information. Dry erase pockets are used as our dry erase boards that provide differentiation for my students when we work with math templates and computation skills. Crayons are not provided for my students, so I would like those to be readily available as they are better to maintain than color pencils. The pencil bags are used to keep our headphones contained in a space that will prevent tangling and house them in something safe.
These supplies will help set up the new year by providing essentials to help foster learning and goal setting with my students.
