it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am a fourth-grade bilingual teacher to some of the most amazing students. Every day my students come to my classroom eager and ready to learn. My students enjoy learning new concepts everyday. They all come from low income backgrounds and English is their second language. Our school is one of the biggest elementary schools in the district and we are a Title I school.
My Project
For this upcoming school year, my students need basic school supplies to help them in their day to day learning activities. It is very important that my students have the best when it comes to learning. They need materials that will make learning easy and don't have to worry about not having a pencil or eraser. The supplies in this project will provide my students with those materials necessary to complete any task. Having this basic materials will help our room run smoothly. All of my students will be able to use the materials. My goal is to make sure my students have daily use materials such as pencils, erasers, sharpeners, scissors, markers to complete their work. Our hands on activities will be made easier if we have enough for every student. Place value foam coins, whiteboards, markers, and erasers will help my math lessons come to life and keep students engaged. Poster paper and big sticky notes will allow students to access supporting materials from anywhere in the classroom.
