School Supplies and Word Building Activities

My Project

I'm requesting a class set of Crayola markers, word-building activities, sensory tools, and the most boring but necessary thing...paper.

My first graders need fresh supplies to start the new school year.

My students love to write and draw with markers but our current class set is just about dried up. I've been using the same set of markers for around 5 years and they have contributed to so much amazing work! It's time to replace the class set. I'm also asking for two word building activities to support my students with their literacy skills. Both magnetic letters and word-building blocks will allow students to have hands-on practice when making and reading words. The sensory tools are for our calm down area, which provides students with fidget toys, sensory tools, and other strategies to manage big emotions. Finally, colored paper is a must for notes home to families.

These supplies will help my class start this school year on a positive note. Fresh school supplies and fun activities to enhance their learning would be a great addition to our classroom. Thank you!
