This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are some of the most determined individuals I know, and they desperately need tools for organization to help them keep track of their schoolwork. I'm hoping to use envelopes as an eco-friendly alternative to binders, which are quickly destroyed in backpacks, to store students' notes and papers in the classroom. The bins and file folders will be used to contain work from absent students and missed assignments. Painters tape will be used to create a wall mounted calendar will help students develop planning skills!

As a first year teacher, this year it has not been the easiest to be able to provide my students with all the activities and projects I want to be able to.

Students deserve to get to show off their learning with their colorful project posters, and I so deeply want to give them that. As we rapidly approach summer my 11th and 12th grade chemistry students are getting ready to design their Green Energy Solutions Engineering Projects, and 9th graders are launching Endangered Species campaigns that need scissors, colored paper, and laminating sheets to get preserved!
