This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students have struggled to make adequate behavioral and social-emotional growth since returning from the Covid-19 leave. Due to missing so much in-person school and suffering from family deaths and illness, they have struggled to regulate their emotions to participate at school with their learning and peers successfully. Our school has started a Positive Behavior Intervention System (PBIS) store for all students to address this need. The staff gives coupons to students who are making respectful, responsible, and ready-to-learn choices. These coupons can be cashed in for store items. In helping fund these items for our school, you are helping our students learn positive behavior by incentivizing respectful choices.
