This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a School Climate Advocate providing a positive school environment and support for our students and staff is my top priority. Many of our students in need come to school hungry and are unable to focus on their studies. By providing snacks, we can help ensure that our students have the energy and nutrition they need to succeed.
We believe that providing snacks to our students will not only improve their academic performance but also promote a positive school environment.
Students who are well-fed are more likely to be engaged in their learning and participate in school activities. This can help reduce absenteeism and tardiness and create a more supportive and inclusive school community.
