My Project

As a school psychologist conducting group counseling in a virtual setting for students K-12, the need for new books and activities is paramount to enhancing the effectiveness of my sessions. Firstly, incorporating new books into my sessions can greatly enrich the content and engagement levels. Books offer a diverse array of topics and stories that can resonate with students. Additionally, activity cards (i.e. mindfulness and conversation cards) play a pivotal role in promoting emotional regulation, stress management, and social skills with students. By incorporating these into my sessions, I can equip students with the skills they need to be successful in their future. Therefore, the acquisition of new books and activities is instrumental in enhancing the quality and impact of my virtual group counseling sessions.
