This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We need crayons to use every day and some students' families cannot provide any for them. I would like to get it in bulk and share it with the students who do not have it at home. We also need multicultural crayons, for students to use as they begin to learn about their identity and color.
With these materials not only could we have enough supplies for the school year, but enough to send home with those students who need them.
With the seat back covers students have a place to put specific belongings of theirs that may not fit inside their desk or that they may need quick access to.
My students love to learn and love coming to school. I try to provide them with as many resources as possible for them to have everything they need, that they may not have access to at home, and allow them to take the materials back and forth. These materials really make a difference in their schooling.
