School Library

Help me give my students a better library, where they will enjoy literacy. A library needs to be inviting for students to want to sit and read. Students should have seating that isn't being held together with tape.

My Project

Our students here at Owings Mills High School are resilient, with many coming from low-income households or are homeless. Our students want to come to school to learn, for some students this is a breath of fresh air. A play where they can get a meal, get food to take back home from our food pantry. Our library is a big part of our school, it's not just library. Ms. Yates our Librarian is also a teacher so it's a classroom. There are many times when I think we're forgotten about.
