This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My preschool students have been working so hard all year on learning the letter names and sounds. They get so excited when they can identify and recognize the beginning letter of their name as well as their friend's name in class. They have been practicing matching upper-case to lower-case letters and identifying the sounds of the letters. I would love to be able to give each student in my class this book at the end of the year. We read this book all the time in class and my students absolutely love it!
Chicka Chicka Boom Boom is an amazing book that helps support letter identification while reading.
I am also requesting a letter and number tracing workbook. We encourage parents to continue working with their children over the summer so they keep the skills that have mastered, which is why we would love to provide them with the resources! Any donation would be greatly appreciated!
