They’re ready and willing to learn, sweet, innocent and a lot of fun to be around.
But...kindergarten is no longer centers and playtime. It involves a rigorous workday that many students need time to get used to.
Teachers Choice money of 250 dollars is just not enough to sustain what is needed for a school year. I’m hoping to get some much-needed classroom materials with donors help.

My Project
These activities will help the students in my class learn in a fun way. I will use these manipulatives in small groups to help teach in a way that is engaging for young children. Children learn by exploring and these items are just what they need to succeed in kindergarten. Group work and small group instruction are imperative for young minds. These items will keep my class learning and loving time in school. I don’t want them to leave kindergarten thinking school is a chore, but rather a fun place to learn with their friends.
