This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
First-grade students love to plant and watch their plants grow! We want to give our kids the opportunity to experience this on a larger scale while creating a beautiful space to pass by each day.
Through this grant we will be able to create a lasting garden project that our students will be able to learn about tending garden spaces, harvesting crops, and finding joy in nature.
We hope to have a planter to fill with fruit, vegetables, and various pollinator-friendly plants that students will get to enjoy.
This project is for twenty Gro-Bricks and a raised garden bed.
