My Project

Hi everyone! I'm thrilled to announce that I received approval to transform a large unused classroom into a fantastic sensory space at my main head quarters in the School District of Philadelphia. This school will support K-8 Autistic Support classrooms and emotional support classrooms.

Sensory rooms support meeting student's varying sensory needs, including but not limited to acting as a calm down space, safe place to exert energy, and to improve their overall awareness of their individualized needs (e.g.: their tolerance to noise, sound, movement and how to best apply strategies) to best support optimal learning in the classroom.

This will be my main therapy room in which I'll lead these initiatives.

This school also does not have a playground, so it serves as a safe space for students to develop appropriate play and social skills! All important aspects of school!
