School Beautification to Learn Inside and Out

My students need materials and tools to help beautify our school and make outdoor learning spaces!

My Students

Our school is a very large school, serving well over 1,000 K-5 students. This school is located very close to a military base, making a large portion of our student population military affiliated. With such a large population, comes a large space.

Beautiful outdoor spaces provide the best learning spaces!

Since our campus is also located very close to the beach, our soil is primarily made of sand. We need help making our sandy soil a great outdoor learning space!

My Project

Materials donated will directly be in the hands of our students and community members as we work together to make our school beautiful. These tools will be used to plant flowers, move sand and rock, and provide a much needed clean-up of our campus. Various grade levels will be in charge of different areas of our campus.

Students will engage in ownership of their outdoor learning space.

Once the space is finished, students will have another spot on campus to extend their learning. With such a large school, it is important for our school to take advantage of the space around us.
