This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We are a Title I Magnet and STEAM prep school located in Watts, CA. My students come from diverse backgrounds and are filled with creativity and curiosity. I strive to create an environment with active and engaging learning experiences that foster students' passion for learning. My students are self-motivated and exciting scholars that are ready to tackle the future!
My Project
In order to provide students with the best learning environment, students must have access to basic materials and supplies. As we approach the second half of the school year, many of these basics are scare and need to be replenished. The items requested in this project will ensure that students are prepared and ready to learn.
I strive to create an environment in which students feel empowered to learn and set up for success!
