This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students and their families are amazing. The students work hard in school. Their families work hard at gonna and work. They are still struggling to make ends meet.
This project will help get food into the homes of many of our families.
It is hard to learn when you're hungry and worried about what you will eat when not at school. The families will be a little less stressed because they will have some food for their children.
My families will be getting some basic shelf stable foods like rice, beans, peanut butter and cereal.
