This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students have been working very hard during this pandemic. Never have I thought we would be in a situation like this. However, the students and I are staying strong and continuing to learn virtually.

Virtual learning is not simple and requires a lot of resources!

Students have been having a hard time finding a quiet spot to learn while their siblings are as well. We want to ensure that students have what they need. They are currently reading, writing, listening, and speaking online every day.

Many of them have iPads from the city and are very savvy with them. However, many of them don't have a printer to share their work or see something tangible that they have created. With the Apple TV they will be able to share their work with their peers.

My Project

The materials I suggested for purchase are crucial for interactive learning. While teaching from home at the moment, I will be able to manipulate documents, articles, and other resources with a touch of a screen (iPad). Students will be able to see where I am drawing marks and writing comments on the screen and much more.

These materials are not only for online learning, but they will even have a greater impact on our education inside the classroom.

I can't imagine a better or easier way to teach without having interactive devices like and Apple TV, iPad, and an easel. The Apple TV and iPad will be used simultaneously during google hangout sessions teaching sessions. The easel will be used for small group writing instruction. Students and I will be able to interact virtually with these materials.
