This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are a Title One school located in Richmond, Virginia. As with most public schools, our budget has been drastically reduced. Being in a Title I school, many times our students do not come with any supplies even glue sticks. These supplies, from art supplies to copy paper would make a tremendous difference in our school year.

The art supplies will help get the art program up and running for all students in K-5th grade.

The other materials like file cabinets, copy paper, paper clips, and staplers will help the teachers stay organized throughout the year, which in turn will benefit the students.
