Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As School Ambassadors, we understand the significance of providing school supplies to new students. It's not just about pencils and papers; it's about making a child feel seen, valued, and connected. When we welcome new students with essential supplies, we're showing them that we care about their success and well-being. It's a small gesture that can make a big difference in their transition to our school.

By providing supplies, we're also helping to:

- Level the playing field, ensuring every student has equal access to resources

- Reduce stress and anxiety, allowing new students to focus on making friends and learning

- Create a sense of belonging, making new students feel like they're part of our school community

As grade-level ambassadors, my students are excited to not only provide supplies but also offer friendship and support to our new classmates. "We'll be their buddy, showing them around, introducing them to friends, and making sure they feel included. Together, we'll make our school a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone!"
