School 4 Garden Revitalization

Help me give my students the opportunity to learn about how to tend to a garden and the nutritional, physical, and mental/emotional benefits of doing such.

My Students

School 4 serves students in grades ranging from Pre-K to Fifth, and we firmly believe this project will provide benefits to students of all grade levels. Our students are part of an urban community and we have recently been distinguished a Title I school. With about 450 students, we want to provide every student with an equal opportunity to learn about the benefits of gardening- nutritionally, emotionally, and physically.

My Project

The materials gained through this project will assist us with transitioning the garden into a more usable space for students.

We would love to create a peaceful space for students and teachers to visit, sit, relax, read, and learn about gardening!

We will be purchasing materials to create a colorful, inviting space, with room and spots to sit. The benches we are aiming to purchase are intended to allow classes to spend longer periods of time enjoying and learning in the garden.

Please know that your donation will be used to improve our school’s garden in order to provide students with the best learning experience possible!
