This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A subscription to Scholastic Scope magazine will help strengthen my students reading and writing skills. The magazine is full of non-fiction and high-interest articles that will both challenge my students and pique their attention.
Students will get to hold the magazine in their hands, not just view it on a screen, which will help them more fully interact with the text.
The magazine includes thoughtful activities that correspond to the articles.
We will incorporate the use of the magazines in our weekly literature activities and doing so will help foster my students’ love of reading.
