Help me give my students Scholastic Scope magazines for the classroom. They have a strong desire to read and are appreciative for everything they are given.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Smith's classroom raised $298

My Students
My classroom is comprised of a diverse collection of cultures and ethnicities. We have multiple languages spoken in the classroom, and English is a secondary language for many of my students. I am looking for specific resources that will help to engage all of my students and provide an increased opportunity to learn how to communicate their ideas in class. I am very fortunate to have a wonderful group of students that have had to learn how to adapt to ever changing learning formats during a pandemic. My biggest fear is that any of them will not have the adequate resources they need to remain engaged in reading outside of the classroom. That's why I'm here. I could use some help!
My Project
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many of our students are experiencing distance learning and are in great need of resources for reading. I know there are a variety of products available, but my experience with Scholastic Scope has been a game changer. Students are engaged in the articles and are able to use the digital resource to provide an audio read aloud for students learning English. I was gifted a subscription last year, but due to a lack of funding this year, I am left to seek out some charitable donors. Your contribution will not be wasted and the students will always express their gratitude for new resources.
