My Project
In my PreK-5 STEAM classroom I have 150 1st and 2nd grade students. The Scholastic Spin magazine will provide expanding science knowledge with topics that build reading skills with activities in print, pictures and games! Science Spin provides a full year of engaging, age/grade-level lessons that are fun, engaging and provide access to nonfiction stories, with digital-learning resources that I can add to our current NGSS curriculum. Most of my students come from low income families and providing this take home magazine will allow me to continue to extend their learning from the classroom to home.
