This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Scholastic News is a highly engaging monthly magazine that my students love. The articles in each issue offer a great balance of the world's past, present, and future. This subscription also comes with a science component that will allow my students to learn about STEM at their level.
Scholastic has an amazing on-line component that helps to build background for my ELL students before we dive into each magazine.
Scholastic News has something for everyone and my students enjoy reading and learning about the world around them. These magazines not only inform and deepen understanding, but they also create great classroom discussions and debates.
