This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I would like the opportunity to use Scholastic News in my 3rd grade classroom this year. There are so many benefits to the publication and it will be used daily in my class both for whole class reading and individually as well. The students will be able to take them home at the end of the lessons and share them with family.
Scholastic News Readers offers the students a chance to be involved in the world around them with content that is at their level.
The magazine has thoughtful articles and colorful graphics that keep the kids engaged in the material.
