My Project

I have been able to receive the Scholastic Articles Subscription for the past few years and my students enjoy them a lot! It allows for partner and whole group discussion and engages my students in reading and learning. I love these articles because they give students a break from our usual reading curriculum but students are still practicing their reading. Students are also exposed to more nonfiction genre and gain knowledge about various subjects including social studies, science, and history. There are some really fun and funny topics!

These articles have been such a staple in my classroom throughout the years.

The budget for materials and supplies next year will most likely decrease and I am anticipating that I won't be able to purchase the subscription. Please help fund this amazing resource for my students next year!
