My Students

As a Reading and Writing Workshop school, my students have an insatiable love for literacy. My goal is to inspire each learner to make tremendous growth by the end of the year.

My third grade class is a community of extremely eager and bright learners!

They read their just right books every night and are absolutely determined to advance their reading levels. My students are curious inquirers who want to ask questions, get answers, and dig deeper. They are collaborators, communicators, and they are critical thinkers.

My Project

I envision a monthly subscription to Time for Kids and Scholastic News will be an invaluable resource that will enrich my students nonfiction reading unit. The class will be so appreciative to have a resource that is current, age-appropriate, enticing, and FUN.
