My Project
I am blessed to teach and educate exceptional scholars from various backgrounds, ethnic groups, and socio-economic statuses, primarily inner-city youth and teenagers. Even though these scholars are challenged daily due to circumstances beyond their control, they strive to excel academically and socially in the classroom. They persist in learning and changing the negative narrative that inner-city students have shown in their student data from district assessments to state-wide (FAST) testing as well. Thus, going forward they need ways to learn and graduate to become productive citizens and residents of their communities. So, we sincerely appreciate anything you are able to donate and/or assist my scholars with on their educational journey to greatness. There are various items needed throughout the school year such as copy paper, project boards, dry erasers and markers for the whiteboard, headphones, and headphones with mics for their online technology programs (i.e., I-ready and Reading 180)
