Scholars in Need of Uniforms and Personal Products
My students need uniforms and basic personal hygiene items. My students come to school and they don't have the proper hygiene at home. Many of the students at my school lack the personal care and hygiene.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Most of students have immigrant parents or are immigrants themselves. They have different living situations, and they come from different socioeconomic backgrounds. Ninety nine percent of the students that attend my school receive free and reduced price lunch. But that doesn't deter their passion for equality, fairness and their support for one another. They help bear each other’s burdens on a daily basis and in doing so they have developed a special bond. My students are some of the most caring and joyful people I have ever had the opportunity of knowing.
They recognize the challenges they face, and realize that each day they are receiving the tools and skills to help them have choices in their education and their life.
My students are very passionate and very driven to stand up for their rights as well as the rights of others who may be vulnerable in any given situation.
My Project
My students will need care packages of uniforms, soap, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrush, lotion, and hair products take home to care for their bodies properly. We are a uniform school and they need uniforms.
My students are unable to come to school properly dressed because their families are struggling to provide essential items for their children.
These items will make a difference in my students lives as well as their parents.
Even though their daily struggles, my students come to school with a smile on their face and ready to learn each day! Having these care packages will make that smile worthwhile!
